Return Policy & Terms of Sale
Return Window: Returns and exchanges must occur within 30 days of receipt of merchandise. All returns require authorization from Phillips Lighting & Home.
Condition of Returned Merchandise:
• Items must be new, uninstalled, and in original packaging with all parts included.
• Do not write on or tape directly to manufacturer packaging; use an outer shipping carton.
• Merchandise will be inspected at the time of return.
• Items that have been installed, wired, altered, or show signs of installation are not eligible for return.
Items Not Eligible for Return:
• Final sale floor samples and clearance items
• Custom or made-to-order items
• Installed or modified fixtures
• Shipping and handling charges
Refund Method & Timing: Approved returns will be processed after any applicable restocking fees and shipping charges have been deducted. Refunds are issued within 2–5 business days and provided as:
• Store credit (gift card)
• Direct refund to the original method of payment
Restocking & Special-Order Returns:
• Special-order items may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%, based on manufacturer terms.
• Restocking fees and return shipping charges are separate, and both may apply.
The customer is responsible for all return shipping charges. Returns may be delivered to our showroom or shipped to our Modesto, CA warehouse.
Shipping Damage & Defects: Shipping damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Customers may be required to provide photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label to process damage, concealed damage, or defect claims. Please retain all packaging for inspection.
Warranty: Fixtures include a minimum one-year manufacturer’s warranty against defects from the date of purchase (some manufacturers offer longer coverage). Warranties do not cover labor or shipping costs. Phillips Lighting & Home is not liable for installation costs.
Order Cancellations: Orders cancelled prior to shipment from the manufacturer incur no penalty fees.
